This page outlines the terms of use for this educational tool, designed to defend accessibility and challenge common misconceptions.
The deck
The deck "Accessibility, play your cards right" consists of 33 cards and a documentation to support your workshop facilitation.
The content is inspired by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) the European Accessibility Act, and other reliable sources. Illustrations were made using material from Flaticon.com.
The Author, Tamara Sredojevic (hereafter referred to as "the Author"), holds all copyrights related to this work and its versions in French and English.
What you can do
1. Non-commercial and non-professional use
You can use the cards for free in the following situations:
- Free events, facilitated by volunteers.
- Teaching in public or private educational institutions (universities, training centres, schools...). Teachers may use the cards as part of their professional duties.
Restrictions
- Modifications to the card content are strictly prohibited.
- You must always credit the Author and include a link to her website.
2. Professional internal use
You can use the cards within your organisation (companies, associations, non-profits, public institutions, NGOs...) for internal activities aimed at the staff, under the following conditions:
- No paid intervention by an external facilitator.
- Respect for the non-modifiable nature of the cards.
- Explicit credit to the Author and inclusion of a link to her website.
What you can't do
1. Advertising or commercial use
Any use involving financial compensation (e.g., corporate training) is prohibited without prior authorisation. It is also forbidden to use the cards in:
- Marketing campaigns.
- The promotion of paid services or products.
- Any other advertising initiatives.
2. Content modification
The cards and their content cannot be modified without the explicit consent of the Author. Prohibited modifications include, but are not limited to:
- Adding or altering cards.
- Adding unapproved sources.
- Adding logos or any organisational branding without permission.
- Removing or altering references to the Author or the official website.
3. Reproduction restrictions
- Large-scale digital or physical reproduction is strictly prohibited.
- Any resale or redistribution (whether free or paid) is forbidden without prior authorisation.
Consequences of non-compliance
Any breach of these terms may result in legal action by the Author, in accordance with intellectual property laws.
